Hello Bloggers today I am going to be telling you about vector art. Vector art is really fun, It is where you get a image and trace around it on a google drawing. I did my first ever vector art today I did it on a baby Yoda. It didint take me that long and it was really fun and challenging.

We had to make a slide show about our favourite blogs to visit for the summer learning journey. My number 1 blog is my friend Jayden's blog He has heaps of sports and learning stuff on his blog. My 2nd favourite is Maddock he has an amazing blog with heaps of sports and other stuff. My 3rd favourite is Oakley he also has sports and other stuff on his blog. My 4th favourite is Riley he mainly posts about sports but also about buddy class and others. My 5th Favorite is Taylor I dont look at his blog much but it is still amazing

Hello bloggers today I am going to be telling you about EOTC Week that we have had. EOTC week is where we go out of the class room for a week and do 5 different activities. The activities that we did are: Adrenaline forest, Mega air, Roller skating, Amazing Race around town and surfing. My favourite out of all the activities we did was probably surfing. It was really fun because we got fish n chips for lunch, went surfing and got to play on the beach.

Today I am going to be telling you about Athletics that was on Wednesday this week. The different Activity's are Long jump, high jump, shot put, long distance, sprints and discuss. My favourite one out of all of these is high jump and my least favourite is long distance running. The places I got are 3rd in sprints, Me and my friend Jayden tied 2nd in long jump. I also got 3rd high jump, I was meant to go to zones next Wednesday but it got canceled because of covid ):

Today I am going to be telling you about swimming that we have been doing the last week. I have learnt alot from this my favourite style is back stroke. Yesterday my group got to jump off the driving board for the first time it was really fun. My least favourite style is free style. My class is going back today for the last time.

Today I am going to be telling you about inter class sport.
Inter class sport is where all the classes compete in different games. This week we did soccer and touch. In touch our class first faced rm 11, we bet them and moved onto the finals against room 8. The next day we won the finals for touch.
Then we played soccer the next day. We bet room 9 and made it into the finals against room 8 again. We played the finals and won again!
We are playing soccer and touch against the teachers at my school today.

Today I am going to be telling you about athletics practice. I have already done a blog post about this but it was with different activities. Last time the activities I did where High jump, Sprints and Shot put. This time I did Long jump, Long distance and discus. My favorite one out them was Long jump and my least favorite was long distance. Long jump is where you get a big run up and jump into a sand pit,you should do a pike jump and throw your body forward when you land. The person that gets the furthest wins. Long distance is where you go on a big run and the first person to finish wins.

Today I am going to be telling you about Athletics practice from yesterday. It was the first Athletics practice this year. The three events I did yesterday were Shot put, High jump and Sprints. My favorite one out of all of them was High jump. And my second favorite is Sprints. I don't really like Shot put.
Sadly there are no pictures at this point in time. Today we are doing long jump, discus and long distance running.
Our school athletics day is at the start of November and if I do well then I will get a day out of class to go to zones. I went to zones last year.

I was sitting on my couch watching tv when I got a phone call from Jayden. I answered the phone and he asked if I wanted to go over to his house, I replied with, “Yes.” I walked round to his house, and knocked on the door his mum opened and told me to come inside. I walked into Jayden's room. He was sitting on his bed playing Fortnite. Someone threw a grenade at him. It was explosive. He almost lost but ended up getting the last guy and got the Victory Royale. Then it was my turn to win.

Today I am going to be telling you about my cloze, I have been doing for reading this week. It took me about 3 days to finish. A cloze is where you have a story and there are words missed out, all the missed out words are on the side and you have to try and figure out where they go. It is quite hard, this weeks one is called Grandparents' Day

Today I am going to be telling you about rugby zones, It was last week on Thursday. We where playing at Hagley park, to get there we went on a bus. When we first got there we put our boots on and then we had our first game. We ended up tieing, our next game we won. Between games we had a drink and something to eat and then had to play again. In our last game we won and figured out that we are going to centrals! After that we had 3 fun games then left back to school.

Today I am going to be telling you about the winter learning journey. There is 20 activities different activities that you can do.
On the mat the teacher did activity 20 with us, it was a game. The name of the website is Carmen Sandiego. It is very fun. You have to try to find a guy called Carmen.
You go to many different Country's and towns, and ask the people if they have seen Carmen once you have gone to heaps of different country's and figure out where Carmen is you go to that country, find Carmen and win.

Today I am going to be telling you about my paper mache kiwi that I made for topic with my friend Maddock. The first step was to get wire and shape it into a kiwi. Ms Scott made the body for us. After that we had to get news paper strips and glue. You have to cover the strips in glue and stick it onto the body of the kiwi. When it is dry the paper goes hard and makes the kiwi more solid. There is still more steps that we have to do but Me and Maddock Have not finished yet.

Today I am going to be telling you about when the New Zealand Warriors visiting our school. They came yesterday the 2 people the came where Junior and June. There was 1 boy and 1 girl the girl was June and the boy was Junior.
The New Zealand Warriors are a NRL team. They gave heaps of stuff out but sadly I didn't get anything. After they finished talking me and all my friends got picked to do some rugby drills.
The first drill was. You have to get a buddy and then stand on each side of a line. The person coaching the drill calls a body part to touch you have to touch that body part if they say cone then you grab the cone. The first one to grab the cone gets a point. You can do as many rounds as you want and at the end the person with the most points wins.
After that drill we put rips on and then played ball rush with them. The rules for ball rush are there is 1 or more people in the middle that's stands on the middle line and everyone else has to go onto one of the lines and they all have to be on the same line. After everyone is ready the person in the middle calls something out like if you have white on your shoes. If you have white on your shoes you have to run to the other side of the court without getting ripped and the person in the middle has to try and get to the middle of the court while the people in the middle are trying to get you. My friend Jayden was in the middle he called if you are wearing a jacket I was wearing a jacket so I ran and tried to get to the other side but he got me on the first round then we got everyone else and we had to go back to class. So we took our rips off and ran back to class

It is called a Venn diagram you have to write your name and a sibling or parents name on one side of the diagram and your name on the other side. There is 2 circles and your write what is different about you and your parent or sibling in the circle closet to your name, whats the same in the middle circle and what is different about your brother in the last one.

Today I am going to be telling you about buddy class. The first thing we did was put our shoes on and go over to room 3 and 4. I normally have 2 buddies but today I only had 1 because one of them was sick. I found my buddy named Ryan then we sat down on the mat and listened to me teacher talk. We where talking about the Seasons Winter, Autumn, Summer and spring. We said what happened in each season and what colors would describe it after that we did painting around a tree. After we finished that we colored in leaves to stick onto the tree. When we finished coloring in the leaves I had to go back to my class.

Today I am going to be telling you about the Rugby fun day that I did last Friday. To get there we went In cars. When we first got there our first game was against Oxford. They started off but did not score. When we got the ball Carez Scored. In our second game we also won. Since we won 2 games we got ice blocks before our last game. We won our last game then went back to school.

Today I am going to be telling you about my Easter weekend. For Easter I got heaps of chocolate eggs.
We also went away to lake Aviemore, on the way there I ate almost all of my chocolate. When we got there we put our tent up and then went on the boat to go fishing. I caught a brown trout then we went back in.
I wanted to have a go on the water skis. So I did I did 2 laps then came back in. It was now time to go.

This week I am going to be telling you about league tryouts that I had last week. We had to line up for the teacher to put us into teams. I was with my friends Riley and Marvin. My other friend Jayden was on the other team. We started the game and we where losing 1:3. So they switched my friend Jayden in to our team to make it more fear. I scored 1 try and Jayden scored 2. A couple of other people on my team scored as well so we won the game. And I made it into the team.

Today I am going to be telling you about buddy class this week. First we walked over to room 3 and 4. I saw my buddy's Lincoln and Ryan, we all sat down and the teachers said we where going to play some games outside. The first game me and my buddy's played was called over and under. You had to get in a line and pass a ball over your head or under your legs. Then we played a bean bag throwing game. Unfortunately there are no photos of it.

Today I am going to tell you about football that we did today. One of the coaches from the Halswell football team came into our school to teach us some stuff. I was in my friend Marvin's team and we where group 7.
After morning tea we lined up on the veranda and went out to see the coaches. We got into lines then we played turtle tag. Then we played knee tag I got 1500 points. When we finished with those games we played actual games of football.
There where 4 fields ,you started on a bad one and worked your way up to the better fields. If you lost a game you went down a field. My team got 3rd overall.

This week for art I have been making a 3d Hand. The first thing I had to do was get a piece of paper and a pencil. Then I had to trace around my hand. After that I got a ruler and drew lines on the paper and inside the hand I drew lines slightly going up. When I finished I had to go over the lines with a permanent marker.

Today I am going to tell you about touch last week. It was the very first game of the year. My teams name was the Raiders and we versed the Amigos. When I got there I watched some of my friends game, because he was playing before me. Then It was my turn to play. I was off at first then Riley got subbed off, and I went on. Jayden was coaching my team. I scored 1 try and my teammate Kody scored 2. We won the game 3 - 2.

Today Elegregoe came to my school it was really fun to watch him do magic tricks and show his birds. My favorite bird out of all of them was Richey the macaw. Because he was very colorful and big and named after one of my favorite rugby players Richie Macaw. My favorite magic tricks he did was the one where he put his hand through the mirror. My second favorite was when he turned a bird picture into a real bird!
